Noverca Italy Email to SMS gateway?

Hi,

A friend of mine bought a phone, unfortunately, on Noverca to keep in touch with me (I'm in the US) because he needs me to take care of a few things while he's gone.

Is it possible to send an SMS to a Noverca number via an email gateway? Does it by any chance use the TIM gateway?

If not, does anyone know why Google Voice wouldn't be connecting properly?

Google Voice is not available in Italy, that could be the reason.
I don't know any e-mail gateway for Noverca. You can try with TIM, but I fear it won't work...
