![]() About a year ago, united mobile (riiing) had repaired its voice mail so that if your phone was off, incoming calls would go directly into voice mail.
Now in setting up for a trip, I checked to make sure my 800 number to riiing was working and instead of going directly into voice mail, there is now a message, at least on my line, saying the caller is not available and to try later or send a text (in English only) and after repeating it, then and only then the phone rings. Why have they done this? It is obvious their feeling that this is a better way to go as they had "fixed" this problem a year ago. Any comments. |

I've found the best solution is to wait 24 hours and try again - usually these sort of problems solve themselves. Bottom line - a week before travelling, check the UM card and CBW/voicemail facilities and keep checking! But hey - the services are reasonably priced...
