![]() Wind Mobile Canada has introduced a new option where you can roam in Italy for 0.20 cents/minute for all calls including back to Canada. The option is free until september then it will be $8/ month.
The only problem is Wind Mobile uses different freguencies so you would be connecting in Europe at 2g speeds. |

![]() If you use a 3G phone with 2100MHz you will use 3G too, I think there should be no problem.

![]() Wind Canada uses 1700Mhz to transmit and 2100Mhz to recieve. Those are the only frequencies they use. They have no GSM frequencies but the phones they sell usually work on the GSM frequencies as well.

![]() I suppose they also work on the 2100 MHz 3G frequencies too since it's the most widespread around the world. Here in Italy most 3G phones work with several 3G frequencies, sometimes 1700 too (always 1900 and 2100, often 900).
