![]() Hi,
i've been to Sardinia a couple times now... so far i always used the rather expensive international data with AT&T for my iPhone. Now i've migrated to a Android powered phone tho and want to get some SIM card with data option for my next stay in the rural areas of western Sardinia. I figured i could just fly to Cagliari and get a WIND SIM in one of their stores (the TIM data options all sound too unfavorable). Now i realized, that Noverca actually offers quite a nice data option with the "NovercaGiga" and they're piggy bagging on TIM's network (best coverage for rural areas right??). Only question i have is: where can i buy a Noverca SIM... Do they have corporate stores in bigger cities like Cagliari or would a normal phone store carry their cards? Thanks a lot, -wolf PS: i've searched the forum but wasn't able to find an answer to this question. |

![]() Noverca only sells online and you need an Italian address, of course. You can also request it at a Tabacchi shop with the Lottomatica service, but they don't have the card there, it will be sent to you in any case. And it can take days. It's quite complicated for non-Italian people. I'd go with Wind, but check if you have 3G signal in the area you are going to. You can also check MTV Mobile (sold at TIM shops) if you want TIM network.
