Has anyone else been having a lot of trouble getting on HoFo today?

Yes. Either it's very slow or it just hangs! I have not tried today though.

I get a message that it is down for maintance, It has been that way since yesterday evening. I am surprised that it doesn't crash more with so many ppl using it.

Yes. I did get far enough into HoFo to see the note from Howard that mentioned problems with the servers.

The servers are still showing a slight time lag in opening threads and new reply pages. I would surmise that the MySQL database is still a bit slow. Then again if you look at the thread numbers, you'll see that HoFo has surpassed 1,000,000 threads.
