This won't work, but not because of the different number of digits but because Polish top-up codes don't work on foreign networks and vide-versa

I've checked a few online top-up services (including the one on orange.pl) and they won't let you top-up online with a foreign card or money transfer from abroad

You need either a Polish Orange code or to ask somebody in Poland to top-up your account online or via ATM.....
