Onatel (formerly Telmob, old incumbent provider, now mostly owned by Maroc Telecom is the "leader in telecommunications" in Bukina Faso offering "3G+" in some towns. Coverage is almost as good as Airtel/Orange and they have CDMA too, but users complain about low data speed and dropped calls.

A 3rd provider called Moov (formerly Telecel Faso) can not be recommended, because of low coverage and no 3G at all.
Cross-network calls are very expensive. That's why locals often have 2 or 3 SIM cards or dual-SIM phones.
