in Bangkok i use SIM cards from TOT brands in a USB modem. Real-life speeds vary between 3 and 6 Mbit and the coverage is excellent. My modem only allowes a max speed of 7.2 Mbit so i can not tell about the higher speeds (but usually when surfing on international websites you can not expect high speeds on the thai internet, only when surfing on domestic websites).
