Snidely,

Is voicestick (myGlobaltalk) no longer working for you? I think thay started charging a $2.99/month or so, right? What about les.net. Call rates may be a little higher than voicestick, but they only charge $1/month for the DID. I have a les.net account. I only add a DID when I am about to travel and will need one. Then I remove the DID when I return. So, the monthly DID fee is prorated just for the tiem that I use it.

I have myGlobalTalk too, but there is still a problem that they charge for all calls connected or not. Even a totally invalid number! So, I just use les.net. The voicestick folks are aware of it and they working on it.

Here is a quote from one of their techs in another forum:

"This is something we're working on actually. Our switch doesn't currently detect when the line is answered, so we start billing after ~30 seconds. If you're billed for calls that don't connect, give us a call or email us through the Contact link on our webpage and we'll credit it back to your account
