Probably they don't offer the service via SMS! You can always call 1225 to check your balance for free! If it's in Greek, you can call 1224 to change the language to english, but the call to the language selection service costs 0,0042 EUR/sec... It is an automated menu and it's either 1 or 2 to change to English (if you don't want to listen through the -short- greeting)!
