If the usim is activated > 15 May 2006 you need simply to make a payment event every 5 months, if it is older you need to refill every 12 months (minimum 5 €). If you don't do that you CAN'T reactivate the simcard.

Pay attention: 3 Italy doesn't have any way to check the validity... so please use a calendar
