North America isn't using 2100 MHz for W-CDMA because it's already been deployed for other purposes.

I don't think there is any giant conspiracy about it. If it were available, it would be a no-brainer to use it for this.

Hardware: Too much but notably iPhone 5, iPad Mini Retina LTE, Moto G LTE (N.A. version), iPhone 4. All unlocked.
