According to the user manual at the following link, the phone can be charged from the included AC adapter or from the included USB cable (the USB cable according to the directions can be used for data transfer AND for recharging the phone. If it turns out the phone is still locked, when you get back home, likely any decent mobile phone shop can unlock the phone for you for a modest charge.
