The press conference is announced on 13th Dec at 11:00 GMT+1.
The launch date of the "real" service may be later, however.
The brand name is Mobile. It will roam on Plus network (GSM and 3G).
The operator is mBank - the country's first internet bank (operating since autumn 2000).
The details of the offer known so far:
Starter SIM (prepaid only) for 10 PLN available online from mBank.
National calls and videocalls 0.66 PLN/min, national SMS 0.20 PLN, national MMS 0.40 PLN, GPRS 0.10 PLN/100kB. VM, international calls and roaming rates not known yet. Top-ups made via transfers from mBank accounts give 10% bonus. Special rates for "users recommended by other users". Special offers (extra minutes) for mBank customer who took credits.
1 PLN is about 0.262 EUR as of today.
The offer is not very competitive to compare with the existing ones but there's something new anyway - except for the "data SIM" iPlus simdata, it gives the cheapest GPRS but (unlike iPlus) coupled together with moderate voice rates.
Unfortunately, I suppose that because of the distribution channel, Mobile won't be available to foreigners, unless as "second-hand" SIMs
