Mobile World is certainly the cheapest for international connections from the UK, however it's not roaming capable, therefore you can't receive any more texts on that card from back home.
You could check at ebay.co.uk whether they're selling Mobile World SIMs too, you certainly can get i.e. Orange SIMs there.
