There is a way to distinguish which network a number is on, it is currently limited to certain areas and we will be looking into how to implement this process in which to bring rates down. The situation is simply this: based on switch identifiers we can only tell where a call is coming from.. Now IF (andy) these are incorrect as some have been it has made rates go up, hence why we had to blend 2 months worth of call data to create the prices for USA - carribean and India, this however is accompanied by the apparent "MTC charge" termination.

In time when it is feasbile to find out where calls are coming from in the US there will be state tax applied, this is also something i find stupid but again as a MVNO i am not in the position to do anything apart from advise and bargain with manx and callkey in this situation.

If you require any more information i would be glad to assist and also find out if i dont already know.

Yours
Travis

If you're attacking your market from multiple positions and your competition isn't, you have all the advantage and it will show up in your increased success and income.
