Will a Riiing Sim Card work in a vodafone phone? Can I purchase a Riiing Sim online to be shipped to USA?

If the phone is unlocked, you should be able to put ANY SIM in and have it work. If you have a non-VODA SIM (T-MO, ATT, etc), put it in and see what happens. If the phone asks you for a subsidy code, it is LOCKED. If the phone registers on a network, it is unlocked. There MAY be some incompatibilities with the Riiing/UM card and your phone, but that is rare.

I would IMAGINE UM will send the card purchased online to USA. If you do Ebay, there are at least 2 sellers of UM cards being offered now. TRUE, one of the sellers is BRAND NEW with 0 feedback. There is also one seller of a UN-knockoff call ECOWORLD. I think you will get a better deal on Ebay, but I may be wrong.

thanks! i just purchased a UM sim card on ebay. Are all UM numbers based in lichenstein? next order of bussiness, is callback or enlinea

Currently, all UM #s are +423. It is rumored that other #s are forthcoming, but who knows when. Also, who knows if they will allow us to change.

CBW has the better rate to +423.

So what did you pay for your card and with how many euros on it?

Great! I bought 2 cards from ebay, each with $19 US credit for $59, is that enough for 1.5 mos? I will move forward with CBW as the rates seem competitive.

Thank you this board has been a great help.
