GT-sim is now finally charging for outgoing SMS :( (incoming is free).

Same price of Eur 9c whether roaming or on home network is listed on rate sheet, but the first few were charged at 11.1c (not sure if that's a billing error that was fixed - what has anybody else been charged?). Most recent is 9c.

The charges don't appear to be backdated.

I got my GT postpaid SIM card a few weeks ago. GT charged me from first time, I used the SIM card. But always just 9 Eurocents per message.

I have had my sim card since Feb. I cannot make a call here in the US. Sinamon sent me a sms It would not let me reply to the sms. I will be in London on ther 16th I will work on it then to see if it works. As of now I am not happy with it. :(

If it's not working for you in the US it probably won't work elsewhere, your card is maybe faulty or not compatible with the phone (I've used it in a couple of Siemens phones and a Nokia 3100).

I used it at various times in the US and other countries during the winter, it's worked fine for calls (in/out) and usually delivered and received SMS within seconds.

If you have compatible handset. Only thing, it comes to my mind is if you did change message centre number. Here are the details.

Yes I have that 77 number as a default on my 6230. I called CS and they called me back on the phone. I just can't make calls. It says call not allowed and the phone doesn't call back. I regestiers on both Cingular and T-mobile just can't make calls. I wonder how it will do in London. I always have HOP as a back up, something I learned on this forum. . :thumbup: I will give a trip report when I get back.
