My wife is using a Treo 650 with a Riing Global SIM in UK, France, Germany. I can call her just fine, and she can get txt messages, so she is on the network. But she is not able to dial out or send txt. Anyone know what might be going wrong. I think she is following these instructions properly.


Instructions that came with SIM: Dial "+" , country code, city code, the phone number (country code is 1 for US) and then hit "Send" key.

Then: Hang up wait for callback.

I have a Treo 600. I believe dialing must be done FROM THE SIM SERVICES menu AND on the 600 you can only dial from the SIM card selection, NOT THE PHONEBOOK. IMO she will have to add the number, plus sign and all, to the SIM card and then select that # from SIM SERVICES.
