Nicaragua anyone?

I have a nephew visiting Nicaragua for 10 days in August.
The international SIM cards I checked have per minute rates that are excessive. Any suggestions for local SIMs?

They seem to have two carriers:
Claro &
Movistar.
They both have prepaid. I'm not sure one is better than the other. It might depend on which was the easiest to obtain (store convenient to where I'd be staying).
