Well, the dual brand phase is finally over in the Czech Republic.

Fro today, the first of February, the name Oskar is gone and the network will be known as Vodafone Czech Republic.

That new Vodafone logo definitely has my vote, it hasn't been used here in Germany yet.

Yes, the new logo is much nicer, in fact I started using it on PrepaidGSM since quite a lot of time! :D But I still don't like Vodafone! :P

I'm confused by the logo remarks - you mean just a bit of added shading?

I wouldn't call it a big difference, and I suspect that it won't show up on a football shirt or racing car.

The only other major change Vodafone made was adding the silver red object (don't even know what it represents) which has been actively used to promote their UMTS services.

I like the "new" logo a little more than the "old" one...I just like such "fake 3D" look :).
But this grey instead of white looks dusty/dirty to me :P. And where did small "TM" letters go?...

BTW, I wonder what are real reasons for such (probably very costly) logo updates which are not connected with the change of the name of the brand/company?

A few months ago I read a statement of some important guy from Visa in which he explained the reason of abandoning the old logo (with three horizontal stripes). He told moreless that the old logo gave an impression of being limited/bounded and the new one denotes opening and freedom :lol:

What bullshit of that kind was created for Voda? :whistle:
