So I wanted a inexpensive TRI-SIM phone
About 2 years ago I got a quad-SIM phone. It died not too long after I got it, but I had lost its purchase information so I could not even try to return it.
Anyway, I saw a phone on ebay for $35 and could not resist. It is quite limited. NO 3G. quadband. Does not let one select multiple addresses or messages to be moved at same time. No web. No STK. But it does OK for voice with 3 SIMs. It is a Blu Deco Mini 3 Q133i. I have two Blu dual SIM phones that look about the same. Blu is a company specializing in cell phones for the Latin American market based in Miami, FL. The languages on my phone are Spanish Brazilian Portugese and English. The phone was set for Spanish out of the box. It has a memory slot and a camera. OUCH!! It is now being offered for $26.95 by same seller. I just got mine Friday. OUCH! I am too heartbroken to say more now. |
and you have to manually select which SIM is active for outgoing calls? are they all active for inbound? thanks

Quote:
You input the number or get it out of the address book and then push send: you are then given the choice of which SIM to use. I think this is pretty standard when you have only one 'send' button on a multi-SIM phone. All are active on inbound. But can be manually disabled also. [Of course I have already ordered another one at the new price!] |
how to lock/unlock BLU dual/tri-SIM phones.
Whereas BLU provides the most inadequate manuals imaginable:
In case anyone has a BLU qwerty dual or tri SIM phone I accidentally found out how to lock and unlock it. Pressing the navigation key and then the space bar locks it. Do it again to unlock it. |
