Vodafone ITA help needed
 

Hi

I am in Italy for the next week and I want to be able to have internet on my mobile phone using data packet (not wifi)

I have a Samsung GT-S3850. which supports:
GPRS Class 12 (4+1/3+2/2+3/1+4 slots), 32 - 48 kbps
EDGE :Yes
3G: No

I bought a Vodafone SIM card on what I believe was the "Mobile Internet 250mb/w plan"

I can make calls and send sms, bu I can not seem to be able to connect to the internet, every time it times out.
here are the settings I have for my phone to fill out, any advice will be greatly appreciated

Auth Type: (PAP or CHAP or None)

Protocol: (HTTP or WAP or Other)

I speak no Italian and could not use the Vodafone Costumer service to ask them sadly

have you treid DATA SETTINGS:

- APN: web.omnitel.it, username and password blank.

there's not your exact model, but you can try with a similar one, the settings are usually the same.
