Going to Italy for 3 weeks later this month...
 

I bought an unlocked Nokia e71x and I'm looking for a prepaid data sim solution that won't cost an arm and a leg, but will allow me to use VOIP (Skype app?).

Also, as stupid as this question is, should I be ordering this SIM before I leave and getting it shipped here? Or should I pick it up when I land in Milan? (I've never done the overseas prepaid sim thing before, hence the stupid question)

Buy it in Milan.
As far as VoIP, you have to choose one of the more expensive options. Check all information here:
