European data roaming on prepaid simcards
 

How about a thread in which we list all prepaid services which allow for reasonably cheap data roaming in multiple European countries?

Here are the ones I know about:

German Simyo and Medionmobile:
Cost: €0,49/MB
Counties: Whole European Union
Offer: Standard data roaming

Dutch Vodafone:
Cost: €2 for 20MB valid to use in 1 day and once that's used: €0,30/MB
Counties: Belgium, Germany, France, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Malta, Austria, Portugal, Romania, Spain, Czech Republic, United Kingdom and Switzerland
Offer: Internet op Reis Dagbundel

Abroadband:
Cost: €0,59/MB
Counties: Whole Europe except Ukraine
Offer: Standard data roaming

Wind Italy
Cost: 15€ a week - 100MB. After: 0,9€/MB
Countries: European Union and USA (Switzerland incl.)
Offer: Web Travel Weekly

Vodafone Italy
Cost: 2€ on first connection of the day - 100MB per day. After: 1€/MB
Countries: Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, UK, Greece, Ireland, Malta, Netherlands, Portugal, Czech Republic, Romania, Spain, Switzerland, Hungary
Offer: Vodafone passport mobile internet

Now that certainly is a good offer, but as far as I understand on Vodafone's website it is valid only until 31 May 2011? (which is a pity!)

It's 3,5€ if you don't have Mobile Internet on your prepaid SIM. If you have Mobile Internet (3€/week), then it's 2€/day.

Yes it's valid till 31 May 2011 if it will be not extended by vodafone company.
Whatever, as tux said, without this temporary offer the sim it's really not bad:

2€ per day and 12€ at month (50MB)

p.s. Do you know that if you actually request MNP to vodafone you can get two promo for free: 6 months of "double credit" and 6 months of free mobile internet?

It means: 1€ per day for 50MB in EU and free in Italy

I think it's really a nice solution :) I'm going to Germany with a sim like that :)

The offer costs €2 + the national rate, and for national data they have a cap at €0,99 | 50MB.

Yes, pretty interesting. I have one :)
In my opinion it's the second best offer in the EU for data roaming ;)
