CallBlue

Is it just me or is there a problem - my CallBlue 447937 Jersey sim is being refused by all four UK networks today ("access denied").

yet another attempt to post on this thread

I found a message on the Callblue support site *

We are currently experiencing a critical failure on some of our equipment, which is causing some customers the inability to make or receive calls. Our engineers are currently working on this and we hope to have the service back to 100% as soon as possible.

* it's impossible to post the link, as I've eventually found, but press the support button and look for an announcement link on the right side

I guess they have frequent equipment failures over at Callblue.

I wasn't able to place any calls from my Callblue SIM in Austria and Germany over the winter holidays. A helpdesk ticket opened on my return remains unanswered.

I guess I can still use it as windshield scraper.

Thanks VladS and Andy, guess I'll stick to using UM+ an write off CB as a bad experience

Perhaps there have been or will be changes at the company; if so I'll assume that an official announcement may appear in due course.

Reply from Callblue today re loss of service

The CallBlue service was temporarily suspended in early February, due to circumstances beyond our control. We are NOT out of business, but there is no service for the next few weeks whilst we complete our re-structure. Your SIM card and number will not have to be changed. We expect the service to resume in the next couple of weeks, and you will be notified as soon as this is the case. We do not expect an incident like this to happen again in the future. In the meantime, thank you for your patience.
