Not exactly he most competitive offer, since T-Mobile and others offer 15p/min.

Slightly OT, but I've run up some bills on TMO and Virgin calling 0845 (local rate) numbers, which are used by a lot of companies. Both providers imply that 08- numbers cost 10p/min. I called up for 3 minutes to provide a gas meter reading and seemed to have been charged about a pound a minute on TMO. Is there a pitfall here I'm not watchig out for?

Virgin should be 10p for 0845, 15p for 0844 0870 0871

I think T-mobile is either 30 or 40 pence but it really isn't easy finding the info on the website.

Funny enough i emailed BT a while ago when they launched there mvno contract side and they stated there are no plans at all for BT to enter the pre pay market!

funny thing is that was about 2 years ago....may not be the best offer at the moment for normal UK useage the two best offers (imho) are three uk and virgin uk. but at least BT are giving it a shot!

Ordered a bt prepay phone, got a great deal, £10.00 for a nikia 2610 (or is it 6210?) with £10.-p call credit and i think the phone is unlocked! so for £13.95p i got a phone, with ten pounds call credit plus overnight shipping (£3.95p)
