Question on Hop
Hi. Quick question: my hop card has expired over a year ago (July 2006) but the account still appears to be active on their webiste. Anyone has any idea of what happens if I recharge the card now from the website? Considering the minimum amount of recharges, I would like to avoid the risk of losing the money or having to go through a nightmare to retrieve the same. Anyone who is still using Hop knows the answer?
Actually I would like to recharge it so that a friend of mine may borrow it for a trip to NYC - it's still the most competitive mobile offer for the US (especially inbound!!). Thanks, Sec |
In my opinion, your card is definitly expired so you cant use it anymore. Anyway try to recharge it!

Thanks snaimon, I will probably go for t-mobile.
I sent an email to Hop, and received no reply yet. Their customer care is ringing but no answer... I wonder if they still exist (something I've been wondering ever since I saw they were indicating one of their competitors as their agent on their website - hopmobile.net!!) |
