Austria prepaid
Several friends are heading to Austria for about a month and would like to purchase a pair of local SIM cards.
As far as I can tell bob wertkarte is their best bet, except it's not too clear how long the registration process takes and what kind of information is required. The second question is where can top-ups be purchased? Can anyone shed some light into this? vs |
I guess you can use A1 refills, since Bob is a 2nd brand of this operator. I don't know if in Austria registration is compulsory, btw I don't think it would be so long...
Anyway surely Yesss is also a good, cheap and easy solution. |
When I bought my tele.ring SIM in September in Bregenz, no identification was required (that I recall), unlike in Germany and Switzerland.

In Austria you can get prepaid sims from eety, they offer really competetive tarifs, e.g. calls to Canada mobile networks and landlines 0.121 €
(I've had the internetaddress of a german dealer but I can't remember/find it) http://www.eety.at/start.php?language=en |
