IPkall to Justvoip - no sound
I am preparing for a trip to Asia (multiple countries) and will buy a sim in each country. I tried to forward IPKall to JustVoip and then to my mobile. The forwarding works, but there is no sound. I can get the same setup to work forwarding IPkall to Gizmoproject to mobile but I want a free solution.
Does anyone have any ideas for me to try? Gizmoproject is cheap enough, but free is better. Thanks. |
i forwarded my pbxes account to justvoip but since 6 week or so the sound quality of the forward is just to bad. There is to much noise on the like and i mean really to much noise.
When I forward my justvoip to a fixed or mobile line it does not matter, same bad quality. If I use another betamax clone to call my justvoip account the redirect works fine. It seems than any non betamax voip calls to justvoip have a problem. I am now using voicetrading.com (also betamax) and this works fine. Rate is 10 eurocents per minute Just some info there is no free solution to forward your call. When forwarding to a mobile you always have to pay even at justvoip. |

BTW, how did you get to forward ipkall? I also have voipCheap too.
I tested forwarding les.net to voipCheap and then voipcheap to my US number. The forwarding works, but there was no sound on either end. Quote:

I am trying to ultimately forward to my HK SIM, but for testing I am just forwarding to my US Cell.
Forwarding from IPKall to JustVOIP is: SIP Phone Number: your account with JustVOIP SIP Proxy: sip.justvoip.com I've done some testing and it is the Betamax products causing the issue. I can call direct from JustVOIP and it is fine. I can call direct from Gizmo and it is fine. But if I forward to JustVOIP, it does not work. Gizmoproject is cheap enough...I may just stick with that. |

as said before i tried forwarding using justvoip to both fixed and mobile lines and both have problems.
This did work up till 6-8 week ago when the qualiy became really bad. justvoip is a software only solution from betamax and using the forward option is a way to get around it. I can only assume that the have closed this option. Even when calling from say voipbuster to justvoip (with forward on) the quality remains bad. Seems like no solution for this. |
