Prepaid data SIM in Malta - Is there one??

As per the heading - having been spoiled in the UK with T-Mobile, Spain with Yoigo, and Italy with TIM and WIND, next stop is Malta, (but not till September or October), but I cant find any evidence of there being a data sim available.

I emailed gomobile and got this reply:

Found this page. seems the bundles are for contract customers, but cant find minimum contract period... probably 12 months I guess.

the top left section is for the prepaid cards that i mentioned:

Pay as you go
Charge - 3c/ €0.07 per 60Kb
Bundle size - n/a
Rate above bundle - n/a

1.2 euro per Mb..... not cheap and probably only suitable for email and very quick web browsing.

I had a look at the Vodafone site but couldnt make any sense of it. I think there are only 2 suppliers at present.

There's a chance I may be there long enough to make a contract worthwhile - We'll see how we like it when we get there.
