Can I recharge a TIM card in France?

I bought a cell phone in Italy last summer and some prepaid TIM minutes. I've used all the minutes. Now I want to travel to France. Can I buy a card to recharge the TIM minutes in Paris? If not, does anyone know if TIM sells locked or unlocked phones? Do you have to be a resident of France to buy a SIM card in Paris? I live in the US.

TIM phones are unlocked and there's no sense to use the TIM card in France, you'd pay crazy roaming rates. Buy a French prepaid and use that (even if they are not so cheap). No problems to buy in Paris, just write down your hotel address if needed
