Callback Service Recommendations
 

We are going to Croatia for two weeks in July. I usually get a local SIM card to call back to the USA. This year I think that it would be wise to use a CallBack Service to help keep costs down. Any recommendations? Steve

CallbackWorld.com has been a great service for me. I also recommend VoiceStick.com for a traveling VOIP service.

Most of the Betamax VoIP brands have 14 eurocent rate for Croatia mobile, and zero or one cent for USA. Use Voxalot or Voipbuster or Voipcheap callback, respectively via wap page, mobile Java client, or sms

you are right, CBW is cheaper. but not two or three times. be honest.

Now I call personally China from my french mobile (from france)
Hiboo is 0.28€/min ~ 0.38USD/min (Orange is 1.40€/min !)
CBW is 0.40USD/min

Or perhaps you did not bother to actually read it, as I did not even mention CBW, but other providers with rates that are much cheaper. Be honest.

I'm going to France soon, and intend to call UK landlines for €0.30 + 0.6c/min. China would be the same price. That's 66c for an hour, and not difficult

Or I might try out another system that would cost about 1.5c/min, though 6c/min is more reliable.

Can you please tell us what are those cheap systems you are talking about ?
Is it callback ? Is it for calling from a mobile ?
Hope we compare same things. Because from France, I call UK landlines for free ... with my freebox. But when at home only.

i was suggesting hiboo because the person who started this topic told us he was going in croatia and he wanted to place calls from his mobile.
we cannot make comparisons between services that are differents, this would be unfair.

Ok from Croatia mobile to France you can have .24$ with mywebcalls (callback).

France mobile to China 0.187$

Much much cheaper than Hiboo. And do not forget. Mywebcalls has per second billing!
