I will be leaving on a trip to Turkey, Greece and Italy next week and plan to use UM and Callback World as a means of staying in touch. Before I leave, I would like to set up the speed dialing feature available through Callback World. Here's my plan:
1. Via the internet, changing my callback number to my current US cellphone number. 2. Calling my Callback World Area Code 213 number using my US cellphone. 3. Setting up the Callback World speed dial numbers using the *5# function. 4. Resetting my callback number (via the internet) to the +423 number assigned to me by UM. This looks like it might work. Has anyone done anything like this before? Thanks. Carl |
 Well, yeah, I guess so. I tend to use the two-phone method and launch calls via GPRS, so I don't have to bother with speed dialing. One of these days I'll try writing Java (J2ME) aplet to manage call triggering but that won't be this week.

That will work. I did just the same thing.

Thanks all! I'll give it a try.
