Hi all,
I'm traveling to Italy in a few week and I'd like to buy a prepaid sim to use in my Treo 600. I've found at least one provider online that says 'not compatible with Palm based phones'. That makes me doublt the others will work. I'd like to get a good price with free incoming calls. Basically when I call home I'll just say 'call me back' and the long distance charges will be on my home phone. I'd appreciate someone to suggest what to buy. The research on these is very confusing. As I mentioned before I have a Treo 600 Quadband. I'd like to also be able to recharge the card if needed using a US Visa card or an American Express card. Regards, Jeff |

But you can go to any operator shop and see if they accept your US credit card for buying the top-ups you need. |

- TIM (iltelefonino.tim.it): it's almost impossible for an italian to use a valid credit card, really impossible for a foreigner :( - WIND (mondowind.it): no problem, actually you can use any kind of credit card (italian and not) - VODAFONE (190.it): no problem if you use AMEX, impossible for a Visa/MC/Diners NOT issued in Italy. - H3G (shoptre.com): no problem, actually you can use any kind of credit card (italian and not) |
