Thanks for responding. I don't understand what I am seeing. Where does this number 21cents come from. You do have US Number/SIM card. Since the rate for a minute is 17cents. Something is wierd/wrong. 30 seconds would be 9cents. Call them up and ask about it. It would not be the first thing in their system that is broke. This really looks nothing like my experience with six Tru SIMs activated. Do call and please report it back to us. You can always mention that another user says you should not be charged for incoming calls or voicemail. [fwiw, I don't think one can tell if a voicemail was left from the above listing, so it might have or might not have.
Good luck and thanks for sharing. [Make sure you research your history and have all the inbound charges added up so they can give you a refund.]

Here, I just called and left a message from one Tru to another:

Yeah. I can ring them up to see what's up. I did not bother initially because I their rates in the countries I am likely to visit are very high, and do not plan on using the sim. However, I can have family members use it when they visit from abroad.

was recently in Australia, and truphone sim worked really well, got a local number and membership for a month ($23), then calls around 20c/min, and best of all, data only 10c/MB.
off to Canada, where the data rates are still exorbitant, more than $4/MB

Here, I just called and left a message from one Tru to another:

This has happened to me twice, and both times Tru has fixed it (and credited me) after a week or so. I have VM disabled as well. Now it appears that there is no record of calls to VM (which is the way it should be).
