The company I work with bought a set of Riiing cards in Sept of 05. We were going to create a Riiing plus callback service and sell the combined offering, but it seemed too complicated for our typical customer. Now we have about 100 sims and recharge pins that we don't plan on using.

I'm planning on putting them up for sale on Ebay on the cheap, but I want to make sure that the cards expire 9 months after first use and not 9 months since they were shipped. I tested one card and it still works fine. I've seen a recent post saying that it seems like the expiration isn't enforced. Has anyone had their card expire?

9 months from first BILLED useage.

I would advise you NOT to put them on Ebay ALL AT ONE TIME.

1. I doubt you will sell them all
2. You will achieve a low price.

This is a matter of supply and demand. There was a recent seller who offered > 50 on a BUY IT NOW starting for $45 + $6 shipping. He did sell a few. Right now there are a few being offered and prices are relatively high.

Good luck.

thanks for the info. I'll follow your advice on having our office post them over time since we're in no rush.

As much as I'd like to snatch up some Riiing SIMs for $1 each, I have to agree. Almost no one ever does the "Dutch" (multiple items) any more. I think it's psychological. The buyers have a ticit understanding to not run the price up. It's in all the buyers' best interests to have to lowest bidder's price be a low-ball.

And 9 months after the LAST billed usage as well, so it's really not a problem to keep them alive.

I don't think the 9 month rule is not being strictly enforced right now, but that could change.
