Some problems with Travelsim?

Since some days my travelsim has a significant return of entry when I call someone. Happens to you too?

Effendi 07-04-2010 12:07

"return of entry"? You mean a delay? If that's what you mean I noticed it too, calling from Dubai, Brazil and Argentina to Italy...

fedeprovenza 09-04-2010 13:08

Yes, sorry. It happens from France to Italy and vice-versa

We have three TravelSIM and none is working correctly anymore. It's possible to check the credit, but that's all. No calls can be made and no SMSs can be sent.

I just checked my TravelSIM card - it works fine.

Effendi 14-04-2010 19:26

I checked it too, called my Truphone number, texted it too, no problems at all, everything works fine (in Italy, roaming on TIM).

fedeprovenza 16-04-2010 21:50

My other 2 ts works fine (in Italy, roaming on Tim, Vodafone and Wind).

My Travelsimcard (travelsim.ua - account in US Dollars) works good.

TravelSIM problems

We still can't use our three SIM cards. They seem to have all outgoing traffic blocked, for some reason. They don't work in any country that we've tried them in.

Does *146*00XXXXXХХХХХХХ# also not work?

Btw, direct outgoing calls blocked on all International SIM cards, because they use callback method instead.

If you see such message like "outgoing calls barred" possible it means that your handset is not compatible with SIM application, I can suggest to use another handset,
or dial via *146*00CountryCodeNumber#.

Also good idea to ask from support(c)travelsim.com, may be your SIM just expired.

borjeg 04-05-2010 10:46

We haven't tried that since we've only been in countries where direct calling is supported and that doesn't work.

fedeprovenza 08-08-2010 10:48

New voice with Travelsim? When I call my cards I hear from an english voice, not estonian anymore:)

olev_p 24-08-2010 13:52

3 months ago I suggest you to ask the support(c)travelsim.com, looks you still not ask :)

My Travelsim card (airbaltic) works pretty good, I used it some days ago in Turkey, registered in Turkcel network.

??? Why do you think we didn't ask? What are you looking at to see that?

We got the answer that "oh yes it should work, we can't see any problems". Not a very creative answer to us.

We have other SIM card soultions, so we just test the cards every now and then to see if they work, and they don't.
