News from Travelsim?

If you go on travelsimshop.it you can read (on the right)--> 'United-mobile customer? Click here, special offer'...but there isn't a link to offer. Some interesting news are arriving? :)

maccoy 18-05-2009 08:51

The link is working...
If you send them your UM card you'll receive a TS card with 5 euros on it.

fedeprovenza 18-05-2009 21:05

Where did you read it?

It's strange: I only read 'United-mobile customer? Click here' but if I click there I return...on the home page of Ts:eek:

Henning, they were referring to the travelsimshop for the estonian cards:

Good moring,

if I open travelsimshop.it I will be rerouted to a german language page and the link to exchange my UM-SIM-Card works. I'm asked to send my SIM-Card to Poland.

I had a AirBalticSim some Month ago (1-2 years?) and it worked itself so far, but the Voice-Mail didn't work (or I didn't find out how to use it)
To call to +372 5x from Germany was a little difficult, especially some Call-by-Call Carriers routed to Never-Never-Land but not to Estonia :-(

My personal favorite remains Swisscom, but this is special, as you have to buy the SIM-card personally in Switzerland, which means a lot of efforts, if you live, let say in Tasmania or on the Easter Islands for example :-)

I have exactly your same problem, using both Firefox and IE8... some problems from Italy?

Interesting. Is that a Prepaid or contract-type card? Can you buy one without a Swiss permanent address? I get there quite a bit for work and could buy one next month, but my permanent address is US.

Thanks!

Kupe

you dont need a permanent adress. We also have quite a lot of them at work mainly for interational GPRS. You just need to register your adress by showing your passport when purchasing the card.

No-one has replied to this post yet, so has anyone received their simcard I wonder?

123456 11-06-2009 16:49

My holiday is coming (fast....!)

And still no Travelsim in the mail over here. I mailed my United Mobile SIM to Travelsimshop almost 4 weeks ago.

snaimon 15-06-2009 22:05

I just received a new Travelsim card from Poland. I cannot find the original post, however. I cannot register the SIM (some techical issue, I hope.) 099 shows I have a 0 balance. Can anyone point me to the original post for this offer?

snaimon 15-06-2009 22:07

I see it now, but NO 5 Euro credit!

I see it now, but NO 5 Euro credit! Maybe if I can register the SIM the balance will change. I have emailed customer care.

Fixed

Other than the automatic reply to my first "ticket," I have received nothing from TravelSIM. However, after I registered, I noticed an "ACTIVATE" tab on their site. After clicking in there, there was something about applying a 5 Euro credit. I did and, voila, 5 Euros are credited to my account.

The process was not explained in the registered letter I received with the SIM card.

Bottom line, everything is fixed.

On returning home yesterday from 2 weeks holiday in Spain i found a note in my mailbox that i can pick up my Travelsim at the post office. On the 12th of June the post tried to deliver it, but i wasn't home. So everything okay overhere as well. Thanks Travelsimshop!
