GT_Sim

Has anybody specific experience with this sim. I know from their website it requires Euro 100 a year to remain active. This is not a problem for an active roamer. But it says on their web is possible to add fixed line numbers to the sim but it doesnt say how much they cost and if there is a surcharge receiving those calls. Their online customer sup:rolleyes:port seems flaky, got no answer to my inquiries.

mart.lu 10-04-2009 10:57

In their web site they tell 0,59 Euro/month if you don't use their service now i cannot tell you tomorrow because they change rates really easy
For the DID numbers i get a french non geographic one it cost me 4 months ago 0 Euro for one year right now it seems to be around 1 Euro/month
You can buy DID number from a lot of country the price will change country to country and even in the number.
You can buy numbers for 1,3,6 months, or a year and it seems that more you buy months more it's cheap.
In any case to call this number it cost you 0,1 Euro/min
The service to my french DID number works fine.
Hope it help you

GT-SIM is simply the best.

-rate of 0.19
-rate incom. of 0.09

-50 fix the numbers further, from 4 euro a year
-rate of 0.19
-rate incom. of 0.19

- I am satisfied with GT-SIM i have a sim 4 years

- I recommend : Cool::)

fsotirop 25-04-2012 11:51

tel.numbers assigned by gt-sim are Isle of Man numbers (Manx Telecom prefixes) with NO free incoming calls countries.
billing (all outgoing/incoming calls) charged on a 60/60 sec. basis.

data rates within europe staring from 1.55eur. per mb (the chepeast country) up to 10.20eur. per mb to some european countries....

Eustar 08-09-2012 01:28

GT-Sim

(+447924xxxxxx isle of man)

Atention, are not favorable for the Internet (0.01kb=0.015€) but GOOD for cheap phone calls, of 0.19€ Worldwide Landline and Worldwide Mobile of 0.29€ and SMS of 0.09€ EU, 0.29 World. Incomming Call 0.09€ EU and World 0.29€...see TarifPlan.

This is a Roaming SIM card with the most users, more than one million...

GT-Sim / PricePlan

I am satisfied with the GT-sim 4 years and phone tariffs are very stable for years
gt-sim there since 2006. It is very important for the stability!

Thanks GT-Sim :)

TipTop

There are now 3 call plans:

Can you change call plans? How do you use the Profi Plus +4474 plan?

I noticed you complaining last night on another thread that a post you made here several months ago was still hidden.

If you meant this one, any search of all your posts would have found it.

But I'm afraid I don't know the answer to your question.

Thanks for making this finally work.

I have called GT-Sim customer service in early January 2013. Their answer was that the new +4474 SIM with the new rates (free incoming) still wasn't available at that time but that it would be coming soon.

We are now 8 months later, and still nothing. But the +4474 with free incoming is still listed. I suspect it was only a marketing ploy to get people to purchase... (?)

I am sure it wasn't visible for the first 2 months, but it is true I haven't checked it for the past 6 months.

Perhaps it was my bad. Thanks for your help.

Today I`ve got this email

Dear .....................,

We deeply regret to inform you that Global Termination Corporation (GT) has
been purchased by an East Asian Company in September, 2011.

Unfortunately the board of new directors decided last week against servicing
GT's in-house products (GT-SIM) and its customers. The decision was made
against the previous owner. The result being is to completely shut down
GT's in-house platform with all of the existing customers by end
of September, 2013.

That means that all the GT's in-house SIMs and services will be ceased by
end of September, 2013 and you will no longer be able to use GT-SIMs
and services after September, 2013.

As we do not have a refund policy in GT, now we can only encourage you
to use your GT-SIMs and services as much as possible so that you would
not have any remaining balance left after the GT in-house platform has
been ceased.

Note that the automatic refill and manual refill have both been deactivated
on GT-SIM's platform.

We thank you for staying with GT all these years and truly apologize for
all the inconveniences caused.

Many thanks!

With best regards

I know that feeling. Hopefully you do not have too much credit left on it. I usually just topup these sim cards with the minimum, or at least what I think I need at he moment. It's a very volatile industry and too many of them have gone under.

This is the first sign that free roaming sim cards with +371 are very stable because, all SIM card with the phone number +447 are in trouble , are disappearing from the market of telecom world :(

I am going to take this opportunity to thank everyone here whose first language is not English for the excellent English you do post.
I fear that your educational systems do a better job of teaching English than those in the USA.
