So you mean that when I have, lets say 10 euros of credit on the +423 card, and I transfer only 5 euro to the new +44 card, I have two cards active at the same time? So only when transfering the complete 10 euros (so my balance on the +423 card is 0) my +423 card is disabled?

I haven't looked at the transfer page yet, but CS told me, the +423 SIM would be valid until there's no credit left.
Is it actually possible to transfer only a part of the remaining credit?

It seems possible.......But you are not sure untill you receive the card.

I bought the +423 number for my trip to China in 13 days. I really need the free incoming in China.

Would I still be able to recharge the +423 number if I switched over?

prion 29-07-2007 08:39

I am not sure if they really cover China. they used to have problems with this country some months ago. Check with the CS. The +423 remains valid if you take the new card as long as their is credit in the sim.

I have already brand new UM+ SIM card. Was sent on friday. Will let you know more later on.
So first experience:
Classic callback. It sends caller ID. Sound is very bad. I would say not able to use it at all.
Correction of above for location on outskirts of Prague Czech Republic.
Sound is very bad. I would say not able to use it at all. O2
Nice sound. T-Mobile
Not working. Vodafone

Another update. It receives Caller ID. Can be reached with Betamax. Easy.

So it seems O2 has some problems while Tmo works well? I should receive it too, but unfortunately I'm not in Genova till friday...

More corrections

I have moved closer to Prague City Centre. Now both O2 and T Mobile roaming working. But once I have experienced the same problem on T Mobile network like before on O2.

Card doesnt work with Motofone.

All the time using SE W700i.

Vodafone is not roaming partner in Czech Republic.

Here is link for the Jersey Telecom Roaming Partners.

Nice find on the Jersey Telecom roaming list.

Hope the audio problem issue you found isn't a consistent problem with this new card...just a problem with some mobile phone carriers they use.

My new sim is in the mail. Will try it in the USA for SMS and balance check (to check audio without the the zone 6 roaming fee) on T-Mobile and AT&T when it comes later this week.

meir 30-07-2007 20:23

Works fine now on both networks. No audio issue any longer.
