0.25 CHF!? Amazing :beer:

Next travel to Switzerland I "need" a Yallo!

I see your 25 Rappen/cents, but ...

int'l landlines 19 cents on Lebara

AndreA 08-02-2008 10:39

you are right Andy, but Yallo's 0.25 is good for mobiles too :beer:

In my opionion this a great deal :) So great that, if you live on the border, Yallo is better than an italian simcard to call and send sms to... Italy :lol:

ahhh, very good, that will teach me to reply without checking the Yallo site! :???::lol: ...... oh, but Grossbritannien is 35c

and I didn't see the Lebara night-tariff before - USA is 9 cents, but the offer seems to go only to the end of Feb

Lebara Mobile CH is really interesting: International Calls - Lebara Mobile

andy 06-01-2009 14:25

You're right - their int'l landlines are now from 9c.

Lycamobile has very similar tariffs to Lebara, and they both have bonus credit offers

Help me understand this offer correctly:
I'm going to Switzerland in two weeks for holidays. I've been searching for an interesting PAYG offer when I've discovered this:
https://www.sunrise.ch/privatkunden/...ohneabo/go.htm

Die Sunrise Promo-Prepaid-SIM-Karte öffnet Ihnen kostenlos den Zugang zu Sunrise go dayflat, dem attraktivsten Prepaid-Angebot der Schweiz!

Angebot

* Gratis erhältlich in jedem Sunrise center
* CHF 5.– Gratis-Gesprächsguthaben zum 5-Tage-lang-Ausprobieren
* Beim Wechsel zu Sunrise Prepaid behalten Sie Ihre Mobiltelefonnummer.

So einfach funktionierts

* SIM-Karte in einem Sunrise center gratis registrieren
* SIM-Karte ins Handy einlegen
If I understand this correcly, I can go to the Sunrise store, ask for a free SIM with 5CHF on the account already, pop it in the mobile and use it for 5 days? Just for that, no strings attached, no Swiss ID necessary? It sounds to good to be true...

Passport necessary, but not Swiss ID. I had to show my passport to get my Swisscom Mobile SIM in '07.

Okay, so a short user feedback on the free Sunrise SIM: It's marvelous :)

I've 'bought' the sim in Zurich in the July and it works ever since. To future users: Rememer that apart from free 5CHF calling credit you also get 200 prontomax points as a welcome gift. By accessing your Sunrise e-account through the Internet you can change those to additional 2CHF calling credit :)
