Ah...made it work now. Vodafone sim working in the TIM dongle.

Will it work in Europe? Who can say, but with luck I may find out.

Is the number (*99#) always the same? And has anyone used one of the online unlocking sites?

Most providers have several APN names, depending on the type of contract or pay as you go plan you have. If this setting works in your modem in the UK it will also work on roaming.

Pre-Paid Vodafone UK

So i have a prepaid vodafone UK simcard and was wondering if i add money to it will it work in spain and in the netherlands...or is it just for the UK?

It will work in most countries - note that the better value roaming bundle mentioned above is added on request, not by default

I think that bundle requires the Vodafone Live access point

As prepaid, there is a solution by www.europasim.com where you pay 6 € per day (incl. 150 MB a day) in 33 EU countries. With the same card, you can surf in Italy for 2 € per day (incl. 500 MB per day)
