I think that they are surely fictious. As Effendi and AndreA have said, so far there haven't been any +378 mobile numbers because TIM branch in RSM uses +39 prefix instead.

Really interesting... at the moment San Marino doesn't have mobile prefixes :D

San Marino, in fact, has to test their news prefixes before the commercial launch (see the national "Delibera" no. 79 29th May 2006 called "Pre-assegnazione frequenze e archi di numerazione in fase sperimentale": http://delibere.interni.segreteria.sm/mese...next&RELOAD=Yes )

The only RSM prefix is +378 and it's used ONLY for landlines while TMS is using a Tim business prefix with italian international code (+39.335.733/4.xxx) :P

That's what I thought, and I was certain about Antarctica! (Dialaround 1p/min!)

There are loads of them pretending - see .......

If you can get a SIM, it says I can call you for 2 cents a minute. Even better, use callback with Voxalot, Voipcheap and another to make outgoing calls for about 4 cents/min. That's why I'd like to see a roaming SIM from there

While you're waiting fot that take a look ... http://www.andreatrapani.com/?p=146 , San Marino Telecom was born last 5th January

292-01, DCS and... UMTS! This is the news! SMT will be a DCS/UMTS network, what a surprise! :)

Anyway if you are curious the Republic of San Marino just published the complete list of BTS: http://www.libertas.sm/Articoli/Tele...TS/UMTS_00.htm

So now we have simply to wait for the commercial offer

Well I forgot to tell you what the RSM's Secretary told about SMT: http://mobile.sanmarinortv.sm/attual...17299&Pagina=1 .

Simply he told that San Marino doesn't have a monopoly and SMT has to host eventual MVNOs on its new network... :) so... well... yes, I think that we will have other international simcards :D

I found everything you posted really interesting and I'm astonished about the wide difference between San Marino's and Italy's telecommunications systems.
Thank you very much.
Still waiting for more news and for RSM based international operators, of course!

You're welcome :) Then I can think that you liked the end... "Stessa Penisola, ma davvero un altro Stato." :p
