I believe you can only do a balance transfer after activating the new card via the “my orders” link using the PUK that came with the sim. After that, the UM+ number showed up in the transfer to dropdown. Yes, before activating the new sim the only option was “do not transfer”

I have tried the phone's menu and GSM native way of *43#, neither will work just like TravelSIM won't support Call Waiting

I'm trying my UM+ but not with much success... I activated with no problem and refilled with 25€ in order to keep my old +423 alive too. No problems with that, the card is refilled.

When I turn the phone on (k600i) it takes a lot to get connected, then finally it uses one of the 3 networks here I try to call 089 (balance) and I get the flash-sms saying I've 25€ and the validity day. All good, but after that I cannot make any call anymore unless I turn off and on the phone!

If I try to call my Italian number I get the callback but then the line drops instantly and I receive a flash SMS saying I've no sufficient credit, which is not true of course... and again I cannot try any other call unless I turn the phone off and on again...

I'm having problems with the new UM+ card too. When I try to use the new +44 sim card, I get a text message back saying "the sim card has not been activated yet". But I did activate it on the UM website and did a parial balance transfer too.

When I try to call a number I get my balance on the screen and then receive the call back. But when I answer it I just hear a series of beeps - and then the text message "not activated" comes. Surely if I receive the call back the sim card is active?

This would probably be one of the "problems" CS told me about, and claimed would be fixed next week...

I am unable to use the Um + card and also unable to dial it. Has anyone tried to call his number? The call does not get through!

Well, let's add another phone to the incompatibility list... The Nokia E61 reboots itself when dialing any number, including the short ones (089, 094 etc).

So far it works fine with SonyEricsson Z520a and Motorola V635.

When the phone is on, the call will go through with some of my long distance carriers; with others it doesn't (which is probably a problem with Jersey not necessarily just the UM+ card).

When the phone is off, the number is not recognized and I get a message the call cannot be completed and to check the number! Can't set up voicemail (although they gave me a temporary pin for voicemail).

Its not rebooting my E61, but its certainly not working. Also doesn't work on Samsung X820.

It will tell me my balance, then tells me via a SMS that the card isn't activated yet and that I will be connected to customer service. *shrug*
