Globalsim

Presentation

Globalsim (AKA Long Distance Sim) is another Isle of Man based international prepaid GSM card.
The main feature of this sim-card is the free activation fee, which makes it the cheapest international sim card to buy. Rates are not that cheap, anyway.

PROS
No activation fee, you pay just the money you refill when you buy a new card, shipping is free of charge as well.
No set-up fee and IoM prefix is good for British (and not only) customers.
Minumum top-up £10.00.

CONS
Rates are rather high and billing is on per minute basis (60/60).
No caller ID is offered by now.
Short validity of credit (180 days) compared to other offers.
They have some problems in shipping and packaging, but hopefully it's just a startup problem.
